The idea of ​​an illustrated field came to my mind when I designed the new collection. Normally we associate plain and pale fabrics for the countryside, but I wanted textures, neutral but vibrant colors and very subtle geometries in ton sur ton.

This is how designs are born, such as off-white or cerulean blue wool, cotton with striped or geometric embroidered patterns, and highly textured false plains. Spain is a country with a deep tradition of countryside, hunting and horses, and I wanted to be able to offer a collection inspired by those farmhouses, farmhouses, country houses and farmhouses, where the decoration is renewed and modernized.

And since I don’t conceive of a completely flat field, I wanted to mix with prints whose inspiration comes from very different sources. Thus, the vase of peonies on Delft porcelain recalls the purest English country tradition. However, embroidered Japanese lacquer vases have a richer, more sophisticated edge, a product of China Trade influences. Also the print on linen with flowers in the Louis XVI style with a very careful color palette, unconventional, in pale yellow, marsala, grass green and cerulean blue.

My collections have to have velvets, plenty of them, therefore, vegetable velvet with Venetian and Turkish inspiration, like the ones used in the Palace of the Doges. And more urban and modern, the velvet with checkered pattern, with memories of the Haute Décor of the mid-20th century in America and France.

In short, it is a timeless, intellectual and refined collection that, although it has been designed for a very sophisticated field, can be mixed and changed in concept, adapting it to an international urban space.
