On October 12, 1492, Christopher Columbus landed on the island of Guanahani, later baptized as San Salvador. Thus began the discovery of a world of exotic sounds, bright colors and overwhelming vegetation in which everything was in contrast to the tired and gray Europe, plagued by wars and famine.

The fauna, the exuberant flowers, its inhabitants and above all the crafts in which the representation of the sublime and the terrible culminate with extraordinary objects that do not aspire to beauty but represent a cosmic vision of life, are the source of inspiration for our NEW WORLD collection.
